Our Quest

The word "Quest" is defined as the act of seeking; a looking for something; a search or an adventure.

Each person with a disability at I.O.I. is searching for himself or herself by:

• seeking to increase vocational abilities,

• learning skills for better social communications and interaction,

• becoming aware of the people and world around them,

• earning economic stability through a regular paycheck,

• pursuing personal skills for daily self-care,

• attaining a sense of self-worth,

• achieving employment in the community and

• adventuring into the world of independent living.

The staff and board at Industrial Opportunities, Inc. believes in the right of people to better themselves and wholeheartedly supports and encourages disabled people in their "Quest" for a better life.

The Quest is the name of the newsletter of Industrial Opportunities, Inc.  Published quarterly, the Quest brings members information about current happenings, future plans, I.O.I. history and I.O.I. news.

Join the Quest Fellowship

The Quest Fellowship is your way to support our programs.  Support the I.O.I. Endowment Fund, the Client Activity Fund or the Quest Newsletter in memory or or in honor of a friend or loved one.  There is a special place on each edition of Quest for memorials.  A Quest Fellowship membership entitles you to:

	Be on a permanent mailing list for annual reports, newsletters and brochures.
	Get to know the the special people that work at IOI.
	Get involved with Industrial Opportunities through special projects and fund-raising events.
	Use your contribution as a tax-deductible expense.
	Enjoy the good feeling of knowing you have contributed to the happiness of a disabled adult.
