Industrial Opportunities, Inc. purchased new headquarters in September, 2002 located in Andrews, North Carolina. The property consists of a 79,600 sq. ft. building and 23 acres of lands.

Received ISO 9001:2000 qualifications from the Department of Defense in 2001.

Received our fourth accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Center. This is a three year accreditation.

On April 30, 2008, Tom O'Brien, IOI President/CEO reviewed the summary of the expansion project goals and results and also complimented all the IOI employees on the accomplishments of this past year, especially the economic impact of over $25,000,000 in wages and benefits since 2002.

O'Brien stated, "Our three goals at the time of the purchase on 09/23/02 were to:

1. Increase floor space - Floor space was increased by 38,000 sq. ft. with the purchase of the V.F. Jeanwear Building, which contains a total floor space of 79,600 sq. ft. which includes a 4,000 sq. ft. addition.
   
   
2. Increase contracts - Over $34,524,341 in military, automotive, recreation and medical contracts have been received since February 19, 2003.
   
   
3. Increase number of employees by 50 - IOI has hired 200 adults with disabilities and displaced workers bringing the total workforce to over 360 (42.5% or 153 employees have disabilities).
