Income Sources |
|
|
Our manufacturing business under the name of Elastic Products brings in the majority of our funds accounting for 90% of our budget.
From these funds under funded programs at IOI are supported. The funds provide services to adults with disabilities that would not be
receiving services by other agencies or the state. Elastic Products is the manufacturing side of the business that provides work and
employment to adults with severe disabilities as well as support staff and production workers. FY 2009-2010 Budget: $11,208,731.
Contracted client services makes up 9.5% of our budget. These funds are received from sources that pay for rehabilitation of adults with
disabilities. If we relied on these funds alone our budget would be $1,105,000.
County Government - Clay and Graham counties supports IOI by providing funding for transportation for adults with disabilities to and
from work. Clay allocates $4,750 and Graham allocates $3,000.
Cherokee County allocates IOI $51,000 for services and IOI pays Cherokee county for transportation. Cherokee County supports IOI's
transition from school to work for children aging out of the special needs program in Cherokee County.
Contributions and other income account for less than 1% of our budget.
