ENTRANCE POLICY AND ADMISSIONS PROCESS
INTAKE AND ORIENTATION
I. ELIGIBILITY
Admission of an individual into IOI is contingent upon space available within the program, a funding source, the person's physical/mental
stability and the appropriateness of an individual seeking readmission after having served at IOI in the past.
An individual may be referred to IOI:
- himself/herself
- another individual
- another agency or organization
Individuals are considered for admission into IOI under the following eligibility criteria:
- At least 16 years old
- Not in danger to self or others
- Has a physical, mental or emotional disability
- Has written documentation of disability from qualified professional
II. ADMISSION PROCESS
In order to receive rehabilitation services at IOI, an individual must be referred and accepted into one of the programs. Program fee
arrangements vary according to the specific program an individual is enrolled in.
